                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF M. L. KING BOULEVARD MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON FRIDAY,
                   SEPTEMBER 14, 1990 FOR THE "CHATTANOOGA CHOO
                   CHOO FESTIVAL - DAVE BRUBECK CONCERT"
                   SPONSORED BY THE CHATTANOOGA CONVENTION AND
                   VISITORS BUREAU AND OTHERS UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                      
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of M. L. King Boulevard from Market Street to
       Cherry Street on Friday, September 14, 1990 from 5:30 p.m. to
       11:00 p.m. for the "Dave Brubeck Concert" at Miller Plaza under
       the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau 

       and others provided that the sponsor shall set out flasher
       barricades and warning signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
